- Coconut flour

- Shredded mozzarella cheese, low-moisture and part-skim (this type will give the best results, and it’s also the standard kind of shredded mozzarella cheese you buy at the store)
- Cream cheese
- Eggs
- Heavy whipping cream
- Butter
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic
- Grated parmesan cheese

How to Make Keto Garlic Bread {Quick Overview}
This is just a quick overview of some of the steps involved in making the low carb garlic bread. For the recipe in detail, including exact measurements used at each step, scroll to the recipe card at the end of the post.
Step 1: Make the Dough
This bread uses fathead dough, a classic keto-friendly dough that contains a base of cream cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, eggs, and keto-friendly flour.
Preheat oven, then line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick silicone baking mat.
Combine coconut flour, Swerve (or other keto-friendly sweetener that measures 1:1 with sugar), baking powder, and salt in a small bowl and set aside.

In a microwave-safe bowl, mix together mozzarella cheese and cream cheese, and microwave for 45 seconds on high. Remove the bowl and stir the mixture, making sure to spread out the cream cheese as much as possible. (Photo 1)
Return the cheese mixture to the microwave for another 45 seconds. Remove the bowl and stir again, fully combining the mixture. (Photo 2)

In a separate bowl, combine eggs, whipping cream, and flour mixture. Add the cream cheese and cheese mixture (Photo 3) and knead with your hands until a dough forms (Photo 4).
TIP: If the dough starts to stiffen, that’s okay! Just microwave it again for a few seconds.
Step 2: Roll the Dough and Make the Bread

Place your dough on your lined baking sheet (Photo 1) and roll it out into a 10″ x 6″ rectangle (Photo 2), then bake.
TIP: For best results, place the dough on a non-stick baking sheet, ideally one topped with a non-stick silicone baking mat. On top, place another non-stick silicone baking mat or a piece of parchment paper. Then, roll the dough into the desired shape with a rolling pin. This makes the dough much easier to work with!
While the bread is baking, combine melted butter, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic into a small bowl. (Photo 3)
Remove bread from oven (Photo 4) and top with butter mixture and Parmesan cheese (Photo 5).
Return to oven and bake until golden brown (about 4-5 minutes).

- 1/3 cup coconut flour
- 1 tbsp Swerve Confectioners
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese low-moisture and part-skim
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 2 large eggs slightly beaten
- 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
Topping Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter melted
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic minced
- 3 tbsp grated parmesan cheese

Preheat oven to 425 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick silicone baking mat.

Combine coconut flour, Swerve Confectioners, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl and set aside.

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave for 45 seconds on high, then remove and stir. The mixture will not be fully combined at this point, but make sure to spread out the cream cheese as much as possible.

Return cheese and cream cheese to the microwave for another 45 seconds. Remove and stir again, fully combining the mixture.

In a large bowl, combine the eggs, whipping cream, and flour mixture. Then add the cream cheese/cheese mixture and knead with your hands until a dough forms. (If the dough starts to stiffen, microwave again for a few seconds.)

Place it on your lined baking sheet and roll it out into a 10″ by 6″ rectangle.

Bake for 7 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside.
Topping Instructions

Combine melted butter, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic. Brush on top of the bread, coating the entire surface.

Evenly sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.

Return to oven for another 4-5 minutes, until golden brown.

Cool for a few minutes before cutting into 12 pieces.
